All quiet on the NE GA front?

I'm told by Chandra that my volume of posts has dropped of late. I'm not quite sure why she should be concerned about that since she can usually just lean across the table and say, "Honey-schnookums, how was your day?" Ah, well. I suppose I should be flattered to be part of her work-avoidance behavior.

Anyway, the slowdown is probably due to a couple of different things:

  • Tired of ranting. Every once in a while I hit a point where I can't pay attention to the news for a while. I think last week's Dubya's "not ready for prime time" prime time news conference did it for me...how half the country can still be happy with that guy just baffles me, short of a Bubba Bo Bob Brain-like subliminal message getting piped through the nation's air conditioning systems.
  • Rejuvenated music fixation. I bought an electric guitar last week, and have been having a ball jamming with the thing. I may even resurrect the musical portion of my web presence at some point in the near future...
  • I need my doodle time. I've got Nerb, but Polly eludes me. Every piece of scrap paper I get hold of is getting covered in potential Pollys (Pollies?), but to no avail. So, rather than blog I sit here pen in hand trying to channel a companion for Nerb.
