Takeaways from the festival

Attended the Robert Osborne Classic Film Festival last weekend. All good movies, of course. In addition to the entertainment, I had the following takeaways:

  • Something happened in 1995 that utterly changed the movie industry.
  • Parker Posey may or may not be excited about the new Superman movie.
  • The Classic Center is damn cold.
  • Old people think new movies suck.
  • Some southerners still don't like Yankees.
  • Gollum lives in Athens.
  • 15 hours is longer than Stuart and Opie like to wait for dinner.
