Takeaways from the festival
Attended the Robert Osborne Classic Film Festival last weekend. All good movies, of course. In addition to the entertainment, I had the following takeaways:
- Something happened in 1995 that utterly changed the movie industry.
- Parker Posey may or may not be excited about the new Superman movie.
- The Classic Center is damn cold.
- Old people think new movies suck.
- Some southerners still don't like Yankees.
- Gollum lives in Athens.
- 15 hours is longer than Stuart and Opie like to wait for dinner.
