Our network is doing a yo-yo impression today. After about 3 hours, my 4 emails got sent. This isn't a huge deal except that what I need most to be working on is on a server ON THE NETWORK. Oh well. In 9 minutes I have to go do something else anyways.
No, not the ones from the book - the ones that my neighbor apparently enjoys pounding into walls. Yep - I learned about this *ahem* hobby at 2:00 this morning when L* and B* and some other people were outside and L* lost control and started pounding on something. NO! I was not awake - until the pounding - oh, and B* screaming - started. After that I was not asleep for more than about 20 minutes until 5:30. When I don't work out, I get up at 6:30. Oh yeah - this is like having kids - only without the endearing part of toys and hugs and the ABC song. I did not intervene. I will next time - by calling the cops.
So, the point is that the L* guy apparently has punched holes all over the inside of the house. I know this because the Rational Guy who lives there (the only neighbor I have actually met) noted that L* had pounded 3 holes in the side of the house - just like the ones all over inside as he tried to convince the people outside to go inside. Sheesh. I don't think I'd let L* stay as my roommate.
By the way - NO! I don't live in an apartment. I live in a house in a reasonable neighborhood with typically quiet and seemingly sane neighbors.
Go figure.
